Our service team has planned some winter workshops to help you learn the basics of bike maintenance and repair. Learn how to keep your bike clean, fix a flat, and make other minor adjustments to get better connected with your bike, and save some cash down the line by doing it yourself.

“Bike Basics Class” [Wed, Dec 7, Jan 18, Feb 8, Mar 8, all 6:30pm-8:30pm]
$30 *includes a beer, cider, glass of wine, or other beverage of your choice and 10% off the purchase of any bike maintenance products (cleaner, chain lube, tire levers, patch kits, air pumps, multi-tools, etc.
This is an introductory class covering the basics of how your bike works, and how to do some basic fixes. If you've just bought a new bike, had your bike for a while but want to know more about it, or if you want to learn how to take better care of your bike at home, this is for you. Covered in this class:
-How to remove and install wheels
-How to clean and lube your chain
-How to make minor shifting adjustments
-How to make minor brake adjustments
-How to tell if parts are damaged
-How to tell if more work is required

“Flat Tire Class” [Wed, Dec 14, Jan 25, Feb 22, Mar 22, all 6:30pm-8:30pm]
$30 *includes a beer, cider, glass of wine, or other beverage of your choice and 10% off the purchase of any bike maintenance products (cleaner, chain lube, tire levers, patch kits, air pumps, multi-tools, etc.
An in-depth class on tube and tire replacement, geared towards both new and seasoned cyclists. Topics include:
-How tubes and tires work, and why they fail
-How to change a tube
-How to apply tube patches
-How to apply tire boots in a pinch
-How to install tires
-How to properly install wheels
