e don't offer service packages of any kind; so you’ll only pay for the work you need and nothing you don't. For more info read on below.

 

 

 How it Works 

It's as easy as 1,2,3,4!

1. Bring your bike at time and day that works for you.
We're open 7 days a week at both Gladstone and The Well. Service is by a first come, first served, basis.

2. Grab a tasty coffee, and hang out while we take a look at your bike.
During this time we’ll discuss any requests you might have and work with you to build an estimate that fits your goals and budget.

3. We get to work fixing your bike!
Once you’ve approved the estimate, your bike is put in the queue for our talented mechanics to get to work making your bike beautiful again!

 4.  Once the work is completed, we message you to let you know that your bike is ready for pick-up.
You come and grab your bike within a couple days of that message and pay for the work-order. You ride off into the sunset and love riding your bike!

We do ask that you collect your bike within 2 working days of your pick-up notice. If you can’t pick-up the bike or you’re out of town, that’s fine! Just let us know when you can swing by.
If we don’t hear from you: after 2 days we’ll send you a reminder letting you know that a storage fee will be assessed. Sadly, as a small shop, with limited storage space, we cannot store your bike without charge beyond a reasonable amount of time.

 FAQ 

Do You Offer Tune-Ups?
Yes! We just don't offer flat-rate packages of any kind.
Fix has adopted an à-la-carte approach to service pricing which has proven to be both effective, transparent and cost efficient for our customers. Whether you come in for an annual maintenance visit or due to a specific mechanical issue, our team will conduct a full assessment to provide you with a recommended course of action. Getting you riding and properly maintaining your bike is our goal, so once the work is approved, we will complete it asap! 

Do You Fix E-Bikes?
Yes but only e-bikes with Shimano or Bosch motors.
Unfortunately we can only service e-bikes equipped with motors from these two brands. These are the brands on which our service team is trained and for which we can source replacement parts and (if necessary) aftermarket support. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Do I Need An Appointment?
Nope! Appointments just save you time.
For quick fixes like flats we always reserve time in the day for "pit-stop" service, so just drop by! For major repairs we recommend booking an appointment but we're of course happy to accommodate your preferences: either by finding time in our schedule to assess your bike or booking a time-slot with you in person.

What If I Can't Make the Appointment?
No worries! We can call/text/email you.
We prefer if you attend your service appointment; we think it's a great opportunity to learn a bit more about your bike and get to know exactly what we're recommending to fix it. Plus you get a free coffee with your service!

That said, we get that our customers lead busy lives and if you can't make the appointment we're happy to conduct the assessment and reach out to you with the results through whichever form of contact you prefer.

What Kind of Coffee Can I Get?
We offer a free drip coffee, tea or $3 off every other beverage with a service appointment.
It's in our name after all!

Do I Need to Clean My Bike?
Usually not however sometimes it's necessary
We get it, shredding the Don in the spring time is awesome but if that's you and you're coming in for a service please consider cleaning off your bike first. W
e reserve the right to charge our hourly rate of $140 to clean excessively greasy, muddy, contaminated or otherwise dirty bikes. Cleaning of certain components may be necessary before tuning can be performed.
