This fall / winter our service team has planned a series of one day workshops at our new location at The Well. For the first two courses we’ll be covering the basics of bike maintenance and care, and a deep dive into fixing tires and tubes. Combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on repair time under the guidance of an experienced mechanic in a fully-equipped bike service shop, and receive a 10% discount that can be put towards the purchase or special order of repair tools and maintenance products (cleaner, chain lube, tire levers, patch kits, air pumps, multi-tools, etc.).

Sign up for our Tire and Tubes Workshop for a deep dive into tires, tubes, and how to fix flats. Find out about all the threats to well-inflated tires, how to fend them off, what tire pressure you should actually be running, and pick up a few tricks that will let you mount just about any tire without ruining your thumbs. Details below:

Tires and Tubes Workshop: $60, including a beverage of your choice
[Wednesdays: Nov 27, Dec 18, Jan 8 and 29, Feb 12, Mar 5. 6:30pm-9:30pm]

A class on tube and tire repair, for both new and seasoned cyclists. Topics include:
-How tubes and tires work, and why they fail
-How to change a tube
-How to apply tube patches
-How to apply tire boots in a pinch
-How to install tires
-How to properly install wheels

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Students enrolling in a Fix Coffee + Bikes Park Tool School workshop agree to the following terms of workshop delivery:

  • Minimum Enrollment Policy:
    Workshops must have a minimum enrollment of three (3) students to be held.
    In the event a workshop cannot be held by Fix Coffee + Bikes, for reasons of insufficient enrollment, or conditions preventing the staff of Fix from delivering the workshop, Fix will offer to enroll the student in another workshop; otherwise, a full refund will be processed.

  • Refunds, Cancellations:
    Unfortunately, refunds cannot be offered in the event of a student-requested cancellation or rescheduling.
